Rt 118, although beautiful and with great turns, is a disaster in terms of pavement. The road is broken up badly, with many large pot holes as of 2011. The road needs to be completely replaced. You can dive it, but it's very slow going. RT 112 is Fantastic!! No Problems.

Took a ride on 25c then up 118 to 112. 25c and 118 are in the worst condition of any roads we have been on in Vt. or N.H. We spent the better part of 50 mi. staring at the pavement so we did not get to enjoy the tide and scenery. Avoid at all cost!

Late in 2015 I ran rt 10 to 116 to 112 to 118. I love 118 it should be in one of the top five roads in NH but its condition was terrible. From 112 south on 118 the northern section was still in bad shape but half way through I hit new pavement. When they finish this paving job this road should be added to everyone's must ride list. If you like turns and shifting topography you will love this road.

As has been said, the scenery is amazing. Rt 118 is rough, rough, rough. If ever repaved, it will be a sport bike haven. Tight, twisty, constantly changing. As is, Rt 118 is a good place to test suspension and find out what is not bolted down on your scoot. I'll still continue riding.

Route 118 is a beautiful ride BUT the road is in poor condition. There are many uneven surfaces and one inch cracks in the pavement. If you're looking for a trip to loosen your fillings in your teeth Rt 118 from Warren to Lincoln is for you. Once this route has been repaved I would love to take Rt 118 again. There are lots of great corners to tackle another day.

I highly recommend Rt 118 as I have been riding it every year for several years. Rt 118 has many twisty turns but has been getting pretty beat up the last few winters and is in need of repaving.

Rode this as a way to get to Lincoln and ride the Kanc. the road at times needs to be repaved and not patched. Somewhat scenic but only as a means to get somewhere else. I wouldn’t plan a trip around this route
