As a resident of South Ms I enjoy riding Hwy 90 everyday. This route brings you past many great places to eat and also many great views. Jones Park in Gulfport is beautiful, both Long Beach and Pass have great harbors with bars, Biloxi has the casinos and other places to eat. Great fall or spring ride.

Took 90 from Gulfport, MS to New Orleans....beautiful ride, especially Bay St. Louis. Also took 90 Est from Gulfport to MS to Dauphin Island, AL. Visited Fort Gaines on the island and then took the ferry from Dauphin Island to Fort Morgan. I liked the tour at Ft Morgan better, but both were good. Great trip

Traffic pretty ruff most of time especially rush hour times & weekends. If you time it right one of most stunning rides in south. Take plenty of time to see all the sites.

I reckon this route could be a treat to some, but not much of prime scooting. Lots of traffic, fair roads, zero curves, yes some scenery in Missippi on coast but most part not a route id recommend

Update on the Mississippi Gulf Coast....Hwy 90 is now open from AL to LA..bothe the Biloxi-Oceansprings and Bay St Louis bridges are open.

Beautiful! US90 along the beaches has been repaved. There are unique sculptures created from the oak trees that did not survive Hurricane Katrina. 2 new bridges are high beautiful sweeping curves. Slow down along the beach to see kite surfers, jet skiers, shrimp boats, Biloxi Lighthouse, Beauvoir (Jefferson Davis Home) & more. Casinos are on US90 & more just a short drive. See also the MS Vietnam memorial (Ocean Springs) & the Hurricane Katrina Memorial. This is worth a trip from anywhere!

The restaurant and hangout in Bay ST. Louis was the Firedog. It was also taken out by Katrina. Silver Slipper in Waveland at the end of Beach Rd. has a large bikenite on Thursday night.
