Absolutely breath taking. This road is literally carved out of a small mountain formation. There are rocks, trees, wildlife and even some natural waterfalls. This is a must that if you are near Marquette.

Reserve forest on both sides of the road make the Lake in the north completely invisible -- This isn't your finest routes unless you spend time in Marquette...

i haved lived on that road, not far from the halfway was my granparents place, ohh yea. she served lee Remick , Ben Garzza an Jmmy Stewart breakfast at the NorthLand in Mgt. that watchbob in the court room seen where jimmy pulls his watch... that was my grandfather's watchbob.

Sometimes its not the road so much as the people you meet at the other end. Say hello to the boys at the Lumberjack Tavern when you get there for me.
