Live right across the river from Madison, IN, so my friends and I have made this a pretty common ride and still think it's great. Would recommend this ride to anyone. Pay attention though the rodes around the Hash are very narrow and curvy and the other rodes are a little rough, such as parts of 42 in KY and parts of 56 in IN . Still though highly recommend. Oh yeah don't forget to ask about the mayor of Rabbit Hash, you'll get a kick out of the answer so check it out.

did a shorter version of this ride today - started in ky went to rabbit hash and then down US 42 to warsaw and went across the bridge at markland and came back up the indiana side of the river on 156 to i-275 and then back into the ky - definitely one of my favorite places - love riding on the river and some places it is so close you feel you can almost touch it - about 100 mile loop took 2 hours and could have stopped at many other places

My husband & I just got back last night from this ride. It was awesome! Beautiful scenery, great weather & roads were good too. We will definitely do this ride again.

This is our home area, and always a great & beautiful ride. 550 dumps back out to 150 though, which heads through Roland and down to Prospect.

We try to get this ride in every year, at least part of it. We generally come in from Lawrenceburg, IN and start on the Kentucky side then head for Rabbit Hash. The area around the General Store can get congested, but definitely worth a stop. A mile west of Warsaw on US-42 sits the Sunset Grill, right on the river, great place to eat! On the weekends they have the grill fired up with a burger/hot dog/polish sausage all-you-can-eat buffet, cooked to order, along with cole slaw, potato salad, chips, ect for the sides. Can get gas in Warsaw. Madison always has something going on, seems like there is some kind of festival every weekend. Lots to see and do in Madison, gas and food as well. Roads have some rough patches here and there, but all in all not bad. Great views along the Ohio River on both Indiana and Kentucky side. Sometimes we run IN-156 to stay along river, have seen deer in the road in middle of the afternoon, don't recall if it was on IN-56 or 156, all I remember is it was along the river.

This was a very beautiful ride. Very scenic riding along the river. Most roads were in good shape, KY had some issues, but they were marked very well to give you warnings.

This is an absolute blast of a ride. Winding country roads through the hills with everything you could hope for. I plan on making this trip every chance I get.

Very nice IN & KY country roads overlooking the Ohio River. IN side has nice farmland and quaint towns to ride through. KY side is a little less twisty but a nice relaxing run along the river on 42.
