Motorcycle Type : Cruiser
A great side trip off this road is at Jefferson. Take hwy 77 (Tarryall Rd) south to Lake George. The first half of the road is new pavement, but the second half is pot holed. But worth the detour.

I would stress the wonderful experience of traveling through all the vegative zones and the view and scenery up and down along this route. A normal high elevation road in Colorado.

Not a bad ride, but there was lots of construction and some heavy areas of traffic that took away froom the joy of the ride. Parts of the route have not so good roads and dodging potholes took away from the enjoyment at times.
