Start this route from El Dorado hills blvd and Greenvalley road. Once you top out in Pilot Hill you've got Auburn, Foresthill and the Western Sierra Slopeto get lost in. There is no end to the twisties and Canyon to explore. I've been riding this area for years and never get bored connecting different routes. Mid week Mid day is best to stay clear of the weekend warriors.

Second time down this road on my bike. Fun. On 3/30/14 the roads were a little wet from previous days rain and there was some gravel and mud across the road in a few spots after blind corners. Also be aware of taking the hairpin 15mph turn as the corner has a lot of pushed asphalt waves and bumps from cars taking the corner too hot during the hot summer months and the pavement was soft causing irregular road surfaces. It has caused a few experienced riders to go down. Be careful. Nice views when everything is green.

This road is only good for Noobies. Its short, and pretty boring. Its fun the first two times you do it, but once you learn it well, youll want something longer. I dont ride this road anymore unless im just testing out something new on my bike or something like that.

Done this quite a few times, both directions. Done it on a Harley and a rocket. It's short, but it's fun. Rockets tend to take this extremely fast. If you're interested in that, this apparently is good for that. Not really my style.

Residents are becoming increasingly vigilant against motorcycles in this area. CHP is increasing patrols and road condition has worsened considerably with increased bicyclists sharing the road

Did this two-up for the first time, on a BMW R1100rt. Even on a Sunday afternoon, traffic was light and I was able to get into the throttle without getting stuck behind someone. Clean road, save for the hairpin 15mph curve in the middle: the road there is washboarded and uneven. Use extreme caution as you dip down into the deep draw and take the sharp right turn (coming up from the south). The signage is good, I just need to find a good line through the corner.

Fantstic little road, not very long at all but definitely has some twists and turns. For the most part the road is pretty good, except for a couple of spots here and there. Cuts right into the 49.
