We, Boots and Jeans Riders had just returned from an amazing BikeCation in August of 2019. Riding Canada's spectacular national parks and thought it couldn't get any better, We were wrong!
We decided to return to the US via Montana to visit Glacier National Park.
We headed out early to ride Going To The Sun Road. And this was one of the most scenic roads we have ever ridden. And yes we have ridden all over the US visiting the lower 48's 3 times.
Going to The Sun Road is only around 50 miles one way, but the jaw dropping scenery makes it seems like it's 200 miles.
We suggest that you take your time and enjoy the ride. With several waterfalls, wildlife, and spectacular views you will NOT be disappointed. It can get crowed in the summer, especially on the weekend, so if you can, ride it in the middle of the week. There are plenty of spots throughout the park to have a side picnic lunch, or grab a meal at several eateries.
We will definitely return on our next BikeCation.
