Coronado Trail - By JTV69

Rode Coronado Trail yesterday. What a thrill! Rode south with a passenger and about 100 lbs of gear on the bike, so it was quite a workout. But well worth it. The scenery is incredible until you exit the Apache National forest, when you cross the Morenci copper mine. That is an incredible sight of an entirely different kind. My lady and I are already planning a camping trip near Alpine next year. I'm looking forward to doing this one again - will probably pair it with a run north on US 180 in NM so we can do the whole loop. Happy riding!
