I68 from the WV state line into interior MD is superb riding for an expressway. The are many great wide and sweeping turns, and many hills with steep grades both up and down. The scenery, especially during fall color season, is spectacular.
A few cautions, however, are needed. The average elevation is around 3,000 feet and thus, at least during the fall, the air is rather chilly. The grades of the inclines as such that you will pass the semis on the way up and they will come flying by you on the way down. So, keep an eye on your mirrors an be prepared to move so as not to get run over!
