I live in Utah and have done this road both directions many many times. Last time was Nov 2010 on a 2010 HD TriGlide. The red rock walls are unbelieveable. In the summer season there is a lot of traffic with the river companys and visitors. Just plan around that. Many places to pull off for a picnic or picture taking. Enjoy.
