I came to this section from Forks, through Clallam bay. It had already been a full day, but I realized if I pushed it just a little, I could hit Cape Flattery at sunset. I wouldn't necessarily recommend this, as the road gets pretty rough in places, but my suspension is well dialed and the view was worth it. Absolutely breathtaking. The downside is that I followed through on my plan to spend the night in Port Angeles, which made for a long, tired ride in the dark. I really didn't get a chance to appreciate the road as much as I could have, but I'll be sure to come see it again. Next time, I'll probably plan to stay the night in Neah Bay.
Of note: at the time of writing (March 2021) the Makah reservation is closed to all visitors due to COVID. For updates you can check the Makah website.
