Arrived at the 29-Palms West entrance on Saturday, April 17, 2021. Entry into the park was free ...WhooHoo! Not too crowded, but enough to slow traffic down. Temp was 90* ...lucky. It could have been a lot hotter. It's a 2-lane NP road that has some seriously fun medium speed buttery twisites to enjoy along with the incredible geology and views. It was about 65 miles through the park to I-10. Another 10-15 miles or so to Indio. I can't upload pics as they are too large...sorry.
