North Dallas - 455 onto 697 - By Steve

This route has great potential but the roads are in really bad shape. 546 starts out pretty good and about halfway through turns into a very heavy oil based blacktop, very slick when hot out or when raining. Once I got onto 1377 just North of Princeton the road was just a mess, gaps oil patches rough and generally not a fun ride. The route could be great if the roads were repaved.
