This could be one of the best section of roads in So Cal often referred to as the "Rim of the World Ride"...but should be called "Ride with the World"...it gets loaded with traffic, lots of tour groups, campers, horse trailers etc. I would avoid it on a weekend your you'll spend your time negotiation passes on groups of 3-10 cars at a time.
