The Oswego to Starved Rock Run - By this guy is nuts

This is the northeast Illinois riders dream route! Paved two lane from Oswego to Starved Rock, little to no traffic- never congestion, smooth pavement, a mere handful of lights, everything the city and suburbs don't offer. If your bike is your baby and riding her is your r&r- cruise this route. Awesome little stops along the way, REALLY decent eats (try grumpee's pork chop or chili dog), just watch for wildlife (lots of deer, coyote, wolves, turkeys, raccoons, opossums, squirrels...standard Illinois target practice).
