From Hannibal MO to Louisiana MO on 79 - By WingWanders

Best view of river as you leave Hannibal. The road was good quality and little traffic. Good country setting riding through the cuts in the bluffs and bottom lands along the river. We continued on to Clarksville and saw more of the river. Louisiana is known for its murals. Went through on two major roads but saw none. The 19th century homes are beautiful! Good elevation changes. Did see sign for not traveling when water was high, and down by Clarksville could see some sand and rocks from flooded road.
