The Road to Honobia - By Guest

Took this route on 4/19/08. Warning: 144 is under repair. Beautiful road unitl approx. 8 miles before Honobia. Pavement ends and nothing but gravel, ditches, etc. We struggled on to Honobia, but would not have done so if I knew the hard top would not return. Once you reach Honobia, there is no road construction. Strongly suggest checking with the county before taking this road. The part that is paved is beautiful. But travel at your own risk if it has not been surfaced.
