Written Directions

Ohio 763 is nestled inbetween US 125 and US 52 in South Ohio. Brown County Ohio to be exact. Coming from the north headed south on 68 turn east on US 125 and you'll run into Route 763. From the south from 52 you'll turn north on to 41 and left on to 763 north.

Scenery

763 for the longest time has been my favorite road in all of ohio. from driving it in my Nissan 370z to my sports bike! Nothing but tight blind turns up hill and down, to a few killer staits. rollercoaster action all 13 miles. ive raod a few time this season (2013) already and I've got top say its even crazyer than years past. A lot of loose gravel in some of my favorite turns has made it even more exciting. Take the time to learn this road and it'll become your favorite raod in all of ohio. You'll be driving with no shoulder most of the road right next to creeks and cliff hangers. the tree line will make amazing tunnels in which you'll be riding through. Tobaco and soi farms sprinkle the road as well. It's hard to take in the great scenerey of tree tunnels farms and rolling hills while trying to conquer the demanding and technical twists and turns.

Drive Enjoyment

The road is never too bumpy or pot hole ridden, but this year (2013) I've noticed a lot more gravel and sand in some of the best corners of this road. 763 is very technical and demanding. there's even a dog at a house about 5 miles heading north from 41 that every once in a while try to take your front tire out, all the while your in an uphill hard left banked turn. (side note) {I've been meaning to say something to the owners} but in the end the road is furiously curvy so keep your eyes peeled!

Tourism Opportunities

no road side amenities. just lil houses and farms.

Motorcycle Road Additional info

the fist time i found it i was in my car and thought 763 was going to snap her in half. The first time on my bike i thought i was finally truly alive! Beautiful ride if you can keep your self at senior citizens speed wink wink. Simply an amazing road once you get to know it forwards and back. after riding this road a while i finally measured the distance and it's exactly 13 miles which completely compliments the feeling of the road its just a terror. (fun terror that is)

03/26/2016, clear spring day. A must do for anyone. Well maintained roads. Be careful only a few signs for curves. Very narrow road and no shoulder. Best joke is 55mph signs at halfway and South entrance. You won't be going that fast. Only downfall is it is too short.

Forget restaurants, tourist attractions, or photo ops. You're not gonna want to stop until the ride ends. Put on a good playlist and get ready to rock. The corners are tight but still allow you to carry pace through the turns. Be aware of possible gravel; when I went, there wasn't enough gravel to spoil the fun, but keep your eyes open and be ready to adjust your line.

This road is not for the faint of heart. Sharp turns, fall away curves and blind hills make this road a challenge. Add an amazing amount of slick tar and a lot of gravel from the driveways. All in all, a fun road which will certainly get your heart pumping in it's 13 miles. If you're starting from the south, watch out for two brutal turns right as you start the run.
